- : You could try either Magic Workbench (which seems to be what you are

- : It all depends on your personal preference. You can find either on Aminet.
-
- Magic Workbench and NewIcons are two different concepts. MWB is simply a
- collection of 8 colour icons intended for a particular palette; NI is a system
- patch which attempts to make your icons look good whatever palette you are
- using, by matching the colours in the icon data to the nearest match in your
- palette.
-
- So, if you wish, you can use NI to display MWB icons (you'll have to convert
- them to NI format, of course, to get the benefits). NI itself comes with
- a set of icons, but I personally don't like the isometric style it uses.
-
- A "demo" of Magic Workbench (which is in fact just a couple of screenshots)
- is on Aminet in:
- MagicWB20e.lha biz/demo 270K 11+The standard for the Amiga workbench!
-
- NewIcons is freeware (AFAIK), and is in:
- NewIcons.lha util/wb 334K 64+Incredible new Icon/GUI package.OS2.04+
-
- There are loads of other archives on Aminet which contain MagicWB-style icons.
- If you look around, you can probably find all the icons you need without the
- need to register MagicWB (people have had serious problems doing so recently:
- the US registration site simply "disappeared" for a while). One collection I'd
- recommend, which is really a "collection of collections", is:
- IconArchive.lha pix/mwb 1.0M 28+IconArchive (over 1000 MagicWB icons)
-
- Plenty to choose from there.
